Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Field Refrigeration Technician to join a national refrigeration and air conditioning company that has been in operation for over three decades. This organization is known for its substantial annual turnover and a dedicated workforce of approximately 140 employees, including 100 engineers.

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Performing maintenance and repairs on a variety of refrigeration and air conditioning systems, with a focus on refrigeration (approximately 80% of the work).
  • Working on equipment such as:
    • Split systems
    • VRV systems
    • Walk-in chillers/freezers
    • Commercial refrigeration units
    • Cellar cooling systems
    • Ice machines
  • Visiting customer locations daily, primarily in the hospitality sector, including pubs and restaurants.
  • Providing excellent customer service and support during site visits.

Candidate Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • F-Gas certification or NVQ Level 2/City & Guilds in Refrigeration.
  • A valid driving license.
  • Previous experience as a Field or Service Engineer in the refrigeration or air conditioning industry.
