Premises Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Premises Officer to join our team at Leicestershire County Council. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our premises, including County Hall.
Key Responsibilities- Locking and unlocking of County Hall site
- Undertaking minor repairs and Health and Safety checks
- Setting up rooms and equipment
- Liaising with contractors and suppliers
- General upkeep of the building, including cleaning and maintenance
- Experience in a supervisory role
- Relevant experience of undertaking DIY and maintenance work
- Ability to lift and carry heavy boxes and equipment in accordance with H&S Guidelines
- Excellent communication skills to report issues with the team
- Willingness to attend site anytime day or night to deal with emergencies
- Ability to manage own and the team's workload, prioritizing tasks
