Job Title: Behaviour Support Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant to join our team in a secondary school in Tower Hamlets, London.

Job Summary:
  • Full-time term-time only Behaviour Support Assistant role, commencing in September until the end of the academic year.
  • Work alongside the SENDCo, Specialist Teachers, and Educational Psychologists to provide support to students with SEND and SEMH.
  • Role paying £450-£550 per week, paid weekly on a PAYE basis.
  • Desirable experience working with children with SEND/SEMH.
  • Gain experience in a school setting with students from a disadvantaged background.
Job Role:
  • Support small groups of students and on a 1:1 basis.
  • Highly rewarding role making a meaningful impact on children in a secondary school setting.
  • Supporting and comforting students with anxiety, depression, ASD, and additional SEN.
  • Building a trusting relationship with the pupil, offering consistent encouragement and guidance.
