SEN Teacher

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join their team in Blandford. As a SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing accessible and inclusive education for students with Special Educational Needs.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver dynamic lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students with SEN
- Provide individualised support and guidance to students, promoting their academic and personal development
- Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to create comprehensive support plans for students with SEN
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and development, ensuring that all necessary documentation is up to date
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and carers, promoting effective communication and collaboration
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification in SEN education
- Previous experience of working in a SEN school setting
- Strong understanding of different SEN needs and effective strategies for supporting students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
- Dedication to promoting inclusion and equality in education
The school is an all-through institution catering for primary and secondary aged students. It supports students who have been excluded from mainstream education for various reasons.
