About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join our team at GSL Education. As a SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing accessible and inclusive education for students with Special Educational Needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver dynamic lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students with SEN, working collaboratively with support staff to ensure a comprehensive support plan.
  • Provide individualised support and guidance to students, promoting their academic and personal development, and maintaining accurate records of student progress and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to create comprehensive support plans for students with SEN, fostering positive relationships with students, parents, and carers.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification in SEN education, with a strong understanding of different SEN needs and effective strategies for supporting students.
  • Previous experience of working in a SEN school setting, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a dedication to promoting inclusion and equality in education.
