Role Summary
PRS is seeking a Lead Technical Coordinator to oversee our client's contract focused on Hard Services (Mechanical & Electrical) Maintenance for a significant commercial facility. This position is ideal for a seasoned Facilities Engineer aiming to advance their career.
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the successful implementation of all maintenance tasks, including planned, corrective, and reactive work, along with the relevant control processes.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours per week, with a call-out frequency of once every four weeks.
Additional benefits include:
- Overtime compensation at double the standard rate

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that technical services on-site comply with all relevant legislation, client requirements, and company health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all technical activities, both within and outside the defined scope, providing support across a broad range of industrial technical services to both the team and the client.
- Lead a team of technicians to deliver technical services using company resources.
- Oversee the management of specialist subcontractors as necessary.
- Develop solutions and provide quotations for minor project work.
- Identify potential business opportunities for expanding service scope and additional offerings.
- Perform maintenance and repair tasks as needed, particularly in emergencies or to cover for absences.
- Manage the delivery of technical services on-site effectively.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for an experienced engineer who is ready to take the next step in their career. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to high standards of building services provision, both planned and reactive, within a commercial environment, while prioritizing exceptional customer service.
Required Experience:
- Proficient computer skills.
- Understanding of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) requirements.
- Proven ability to visualize and communicate work execution plans.
- Capability to manage multiple priorities or projects concurrently and ensure their progression to completion.
- Engineering background with the ability to accurately estimate labor hours, material needs, and required skills for job completion.
- Familiarity with maintenance processes, work order systems, planning, scheduling, and inventory management.
- Ability to provide training and demonstrate specific job requirements.
- Willingness to lead by example through practical maintenance and installation tasks executed to a high standard.
