Job Title: Property Finance Senior Solicitor

Join Simpson Judge, an award-winning firm with a strong presence in various areas of law, including IT, Equity Release, finance, and Property. We are seeking a highly experienced Property Solicitor to take on a newly created position as Technical Lead within our Conveyancing team.

About the Role:

  • Work closely with the Group Compliance Director to ensure that advice provided is compliant with all relevant regulations.
  • Provide technical training to the team.
  • Develop and implement policies to ensure compliance with law, regulation, protocols, and best practice in the conveyancing process.
  • Lead the team in ensuring that all conveyancing processes are carried out efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

  • Must be a qualified Solicitor with at least 7 years of post-qualification experience in Residential Property.
  • Experience in managing a complex caseload of varied Residential Property files, including sales, purchase, remortgage, leasehold, lease extensions, SDLT requirements, building regulations, bridging transactions, and unregistered properties.
  • Highly technical abilities and knowledge within Residential Conveyancing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to motivate and encourage trainees.
