Role Overview

As a SDDP Engineer - Mechanical Process, you will collaborate closely with the Design Manager to ensure the successful execution of project objectives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the delivery of nuclear process work packages, ensuring adherence to the defined scope, quality standards, timelines, and budget.
  • Managing the technical components of nuclear process engineering packages from the initial identification of requirements through to final handover.

Key Responsibilities

It is essential that the design documentation aligns with the operational requirements set forth by the Project Manager and is produced in accordance with established standards, timelines, and financial constraints.

Project Implementation

Additionally, you will be responsible for planning effective project execution, identifying critical factors, and leading the technical planning process. It is crucial to ensure that all managed processes and activities are thoroughly documented, with appropriate records maintained and configuration and quality controls implemented.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in the role of SDDP Engineer - Mechanical Process, candidates should possess:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or a related field.
  • A background in both process and mechanical engineering.
  • Experience within high-hazard industries, preferably in the nuclear sector.
