The Compliance, Risk and Governance Manager is a critical role within Allianz Popular SL, responsible for developing and implementing effective governance, risk management, and compliance strategies to ensure the organisation's adherence to legal, regulatory, and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure corporate governance practices are aligned with corporate and regulatory requirements.
- Identify, assess, and prioritise risks to the organisation, developing and implementing risk management strategies and processes to mitigate potential threats.
- Develop and maintain the first line controls framework and testing methodology to ensure adherence to corporate requirements, reviewing and approving the design and operational effectiveness of internal controls.
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs to ensure adherence to relevant corporate rules, laws, and regulations, monitoring regulatory changes and updating compliance programs as necessary.
- Substantial experience in governance, risk management, and compliance roles, with a proven track record of developing and implementing GRC frameworks and strategies.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in GRC software and tools, with project management skills a plus.
