Farm Business Manager

Heart of England Farms Ltd is seeking a driven individual to manage the poult rearing part of their successful game bird breeding and rearing company. This is a unique opportunity to run your own business and game operation, with the support of experienced directors.
The role involves daily management of an independent satellite farm, with the potential to produce over 300,000 quality grass-reared poults per year. The farm is equipped with modern machinery and bulk feed and gas systems, and has a guaranteed weekly chick supply from the main farm.
Key Requirements:
- Proven team management and leadership skills
- High level of organisational ability and problem-solving skills
- Practical skills and ability to motivate a team
- Prior game bird or poultry experience, with poult rearing experience ideal
The first year will focus on learning the company's systems and processes, with a significant part of the role long-term being to keep ahead of upcoming jobs. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills and take on more responsibility in the second year.
