Aquatic Education Specialist

Casual Contract - Flexible Hours. £15.50 per hour

We are seeking an Aquatic Education Specialist to enhance our swimming lesson offerings, deliver captivating swimming instruction to individuals of all ages and skill levels, and uphold exceptional standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To effectively implement the Learn to Swim initiative in accordance with organizational policies and the Swim England framework.

Role Expectations:

  • To instruct participants of diverse ages and abilities following the Swim England's Learn to Swim framework while managing all necessary documentation.
  • To maintain teaching, customer service, and health and safety standards in alignment with company policies.
  • To enhance the retention of swimming lesson participants through high-quality standards, motivation, and customer engagement.
  • To ensure effective communication between yourself, the swim manager, reception, and duty management.
  • To address customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns professionally.
  • Our swimming lessons adhere to the Swim England Learn to Swim framework, and it is preferred to possess an SEQ Level 2 Swimming Teaching qualification or equivalent. Candidates with an SEQ Level 1 Assistant Teaching qualification will be considered with the intention to train for the SEQ Level 2 Swimming Teaching qualification.
  • The NRASTC or NPLQ qualification is advantageous, but successful candidates will receive comprehensive training in all aspects of the role. The position is subject to a DBS check.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both children and adults in an educational environment.
  • Capability to earn the respect and acceptance of colleagues and clients.
  • Ability to foster strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and fellow instructors.
  • Flexibility in working hours to meet the demands of the role when necessary.
  • A passion for continuously seeking improvements in our swimming lesson program and enhancing our service to swimmers and clients.
