Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Finance Business Partner to join our team at Co-op Group. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in helping us understand our financial performance and make informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain accurate financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support business decision-making.
  • Financial Reporting: Create and share insightful financial performance reports to stakeholders, including senior management and the board.
  • Financial Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, and develop strategies to optimize financial performance.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and sales, to ensure alignment and effective communication of financial information.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to improve financial processes and procedures, and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Accounting Qualification: Hold a recognized accounting qualification, such as ACA, CIMA, or ACCA.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis Experience: Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
  • Financial Reporting Experience: Experience in creating and presenting financial reports to stakeholders, including senior management and the board.
  • Strong Analytical and Technical Skills: Possess strong analytical and technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial planning and analysis tools.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
