Job Summary:

We are seeking four Team Leaders to join our team at the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust. As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in the management of our Shakespeare Family Homes, working closely with the Visitor Experience Manager, Visitor Operations Manager, and Duty Managers to deliver exceptional visitor experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Shakespeare Family Homes, ensuring seamless delivery of visitor experiences.
  • Collaborate with the Visitor Experience Manager to develop and implement visitor experience strategies, aligning with the Trust's mission and goals.
  • Work with the Visitor Operations Manager to optimize visitor flow, manage crowds, and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for visitors.
  • Support the Duty Managers in the management of staff, including training, development, and performance management.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of business plans, budgets, and policies, ensuring alignment with the Trust's strategic objectives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a heritage or cultural institution.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and visitors.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, as required.
  • Knowledge of visitor experience management, cultural heritage, and museum operations, preferably in a similar context.
