Pertemps Network Catering is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Duty Manager to join our team in the F&B department of a boutique family-owned hotel in the GL12 area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, bar, and café activities, while maintaining high service standards and ensuring a positive guest experience.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our F&B staff, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Address guest inquiries and complaints related to F&B, providing a high level of satisfaction and ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly.
  • Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage costs to stay within budget, ensuring that our F&B operations are profitable and efficient.
  • Maintain high health and safety standards in all F&B areas, including sanitation and hygiene, to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our guests and staff.
  • Recruit, train, and schedule F&B staff, providing ongoing support and performance feedback to ensure that our team is motivated and performing at their best.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Duty Manager in a similar environment, with a strong understanding of F&B operations and management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, with a calm and professional demeanor in challenging situations.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures, with the ability to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
