The Role
The Senior Clinical Lead (SCL) will report directly to the Manager of Community Health Services (MCHS) and work closely with senior management to guide and support the Community Health Services Team. This position is essential in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, in-home nursing care that centers on the needs of clients, their families, and healthcare professionals while adhering to best practice clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee a manageable caseload while providing both internal and external clinical supervision to uphold quality assurance and accreditation standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with clinical benchmarks and governance requirements.
- Utilize excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively and meet organizational deadlines.
- Engage in creative problem-solving and identify opportunities for improvement within the healthcare delivery process.
- Foster a collaborative team environment to achieve strategic objectives.
Essential Qualifications
- Proven experience in leading and managing healthcare teams.
- Strong ability to maintain high clinical standards in line with national safety and quality health service standards.
- Demonstrated time management skills with a focus on prioritization.
- Creative thinking and advanced problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting while managing multiple tasks.
Mandatory Requirements
- Current unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the relevant health authority.
- Successful completion of a National Police Check.
- Compliance with Working with Vulnerable People regulations.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
