Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Employment Lawyer to join our team in Leeds. As a key member of our Employment Law team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice to clients on employment law matters, including employment contracts, employee relations, and employment litigation. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their objectives.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team of Employment Lawyers. As a Senior Associate in Employment Law, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of employment law matters, including employment contracts, employee relations, and employment litigation. You will be responsible for managing complex projects, supervising junior members of the team, and providing expert advice to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice to clients on employment law matters, including employment contracts, employee relations, and employment litigation.
  • Manage complex projects, including employment contracts, employee relations, and employment litigation.
  • Supervise junior members of the team and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in employment law and provide expert advice to clients on the implications of these changes.

Requirements:

  • Strong organisation skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently at times with little supervision.
  • Experience of working in a national team of lawyers.
  • Experience of managing international stakeholders and supplier relationships.
  • Responsive to change and able to innovate to accommodate clients' needs and provide commercial solutions to maximise value for the client.
  • Training skills with design and delivery of bespoke and public training material.
  • Excellent IT skills to deliver innovative advice solutions.
  • A commitment to delivering quality service is essential, as is the ability to handle the demands of a heavy workload.
