Employment Lawyer Opportunity

Grist Legal Recruitment is seeking an experienced Employment Lawyer to join our client's busy Employment team in Leeds.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Legal Executive with a strong background in employment law. They will work on a hybrid basis, managing a caseload of legal expense insurer files and assisting with non-contentious work as needed.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Advising clients on potential Employment Tribunal claims;
  • Running a caseload of Employment Tribunal claims, including drafting pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements;
  • Supporting the employment team with non-contentious work, including contractual documentation, handbooks, and employment advice;
  • Participating in marketing initiatives, including writing updates on employment law and providing training sessions to clients;
  • Providing commercial and practical solutions to employment law issues.

The successful candidate will have a passion for employment law and a strong track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
