Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Employment Lawyer to join our dynamic team at Eversheds Sutherland. As a Senior Associate in Employment Law, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of complex employment cases, advising clients on high-profile matters and developing your expertise in this exciting field.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented lawyer to join our Employment Law team, which is one of the largest and most respected in the world. You will work closely with our Partners and other team members to manage complex projects, advise clients on employment law matters, and develop your skills and expertise in this area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on employment law matters, including employment contracts, disciplinary procedures, and employment tribunals.
  • Work on complex employment cases, including high-profile matters and multi-jurisdictional projects.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, including major organizations and employers.
  • Contribute to the development of our Employment Law team, including mentoring and training junior lawyers.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in employment law and develop expertise in this area.
Requirements
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently at times with little supervision.
  • Experience of working in a national team of lawyers.
  • Experience of managing international stakeholders and supplier relationships.
  • Responsive to change and able to innovate to accommodate clients' needs and provide commercial solutions to maximize value for the client.
  • Excellent IT skills to deliver innovative advice solutions.
  • A commitment to delivering quality service is essential, as is the ability to handle the demands of a heavy workload.
