About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at Amazon. As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Customer Engagement: Work directly with customers to understand their business needs and provide guidance on cloud-based solutions.
  2. Technical Solutioning: Drive technical solution discussions with customers, diving deep into the details to solve complex technical problems and craft scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures.
  3. Strategy Execution: Define and execute on the strategy by engaging highly technical teams, including Solutions Architects, Technical Account Managers, and AWS professional services consultants.
  4. Thought Leadership: Act as a thought leader in the wider community, playing a key role in educating, sharing best practices, presenting at events, writing white papers, blogs, and running workshops.
  5. Customer Success: Serve as a key technical member of the Solutions Architecture team, influencing decision makers across multiple domains to ensure customer success in building applications and services on the AWS platform.

Basic Qualifications
  1. 10+ years of enterprise IT application work, including at least 2 years of hands-on software development or DevOps engineering experience.
  2. 2+ years of architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider, such as Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.
  3. 8+ years of technology solutions development and evangelizing end-to-end technology roadmaps that guide IT transformations toward cloud computing.
  4. Experience leading and growing teams of senior technology professionals, ideally in customer-facing roles.
  5. Deep knowledge of the Telco industry, their challenges, and opportunities.
