They prioritize creating memorable experiences for their customers, supported by investments in cutting-edge technology to enhance their venues and encourage repeat patronage. With multiple locations across the UK, our client is in search of a dedicated and proactive Regional Operations Manager to oversee the Midlands team. The successful candidate will manage up to 10 locations, demonstrating expertise in overseeing multiple sites, exceptional multitasking abilities, and a strong commitment to team development. This engaging role will involve close collaboration with senior leadership, analyzing current market trends, providing competitor insights, and proposing innovative ideas for site enhancement. Flexibility in working various shifts, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends, is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Development:
- Encourage a culture of talent development, ensuring team members receive the necessary support and growth opportunities.
- Manage HR processes, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and addressing grievances, while also handling underperformance issues.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, continuous training, and performance evaluations.
Revenue Generation:
- Analyze and manage site revenue and profitability to align with company goals, including effective labor cost management.
- Collaborate with senior management on marketing initiatives and promotional strategies.
- Provide detailed reports on profit and loss for each location.
Establishing Standards and Expectations:
- Ensure all operational equipment is fully functional.
- Work alongside senior management to implement new operational policies.
- Conduct regular site visits to guarantee adherence to company standards in customer experience, venue presentation, and health and safety protocols.
- Act as a brand ambassador, exemplifying high standards in customer service.
Supporting the Operations Director:
- Partner with the Operations Director to maximize site performance.
- Ensure compliance with established procedures and policies.
- Actively assist in team training on operational protocols.
Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in a multi-site or area management role, preferably within the Gaming, Bingo, or Casino sectors.
- People-oriented, with a strong emphasis on team well-being and development.
- Commercially minded and strategic thinker, capable of evaluating team potential and formulating plans.
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communicator, skilled in managing relationships across all levels of the organization.
