Job Title: Assistant Night Manager

At Rethink, we are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Night Manager to join our team. As a key member of our night operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our hotel operations during the night shift.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the night team, ensuring excellent communication and collaboration between team members.
  • Ensure the safe-keeping and administration of the main DM safe and all monies during the night.
  • Train and develop the skills of night staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to handle guest expectations and concerns.
  • Manage hotel availability to maximize revenue opportunities and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, responding to guest queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Manage all operating systems required during the night hours, including Opera, CRS, Micros, and Techlive.
  • Ensure compliance with all credit and financial procedures, as well as adherence to all statutory training requirements.
  • Organize departmental rotas and staff holiday requests, ensuring seamless coverage and minimal disruption to operations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Night Manager in a 4-star hotel.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances, with a positive and proactive attitude.
