Our client, a well-established property development company, is seeking a dedicated Assistant Accountant to join their Finance Team. This is an excellent opportunity to support the Commercial Director in maintaining the day-to-day operations of the finance function and contribute to the organisation's overall success.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and control all ledgers, ensuring monthly reviews and accurate financial reporting.
- Provide cover for purchase, subcontractor ledger payments, and other accounting functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Contribute to the review of processes, procedures, and Business Central functionality, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
- Reporting to the Commercial Director, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial administration and possess strong time and people management skills.
- Excellent IT skills, particularly in Excel, are essential, as is the ability to produce accurate and timely information.
- Construction and property industry awareness or experience, along with Microsoft Business Central/Navision knowledge, would be advantageous.
- Proven experience in financial administration, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong time and people management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
