About the Role
Riverside is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Finance Assistant to join our team. As an Accounts Payable Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth processing of invoices and timely payments to contractors and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile supplier statements, identifying and resolving discrepancies as necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service to suppliers and internal stakeholders, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, including contract owners, PO administrators, and procurement teams.
- Manage specific supplier accounts, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of invoices and payments.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
- Ensure adherence to financial controls and internal business processes, maintaining accurate records and reports.
Requirements
- Experience of making customer payments within an accounts payable department.
- Proficient in the use of MS Excel.
- Basic knowledge of financial controls.
- Customer-focused with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Results-focused with the ability to take ownership of tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure, deliver to strict deadlines, and manage conflicting priorities.
- Excellent team player who can work flexibly to meet business requirements.
