About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced front-end web developer to contribute to our expanding technology division (comprising approximately 250 engineers) dedicated to developing cutting-edge InsurTech solutions. You will be joining us during an exciting period as we prioritize cloud/SaaS solutions, enhancing existing products with new technologies and modern user experiences, and creating innovative applications.

As a front-end development lead, you will collaborate across multiple agile squads, delivering value on diverse projects within the delivery family. You will play a pivotal role in designing and developing new features and refining existing code, ensuring that foundational components consistently meet high standards of reliability, maintainability, usability, and performance.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Leverage your expertise and best practices gained from working on professional web applications.
  • Collaborate with the Product Manager to define, refine, and deliver the product backlog.
  • Design SaaS software solutions that meet both functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Coordinate the design and implementation of web applications across multiple streams to ensure a consistent approach.
  • Facilitate communication and knowledge sharing between the UX guild and development teams regarding best practices and methodologies.
  • Implement product code, adhering to best practices for maintainability, testability, and performance.
  • Develop test-related code (unit tests, test frameworks, and associated automated test cases).
  • Review and debug code to identify defects, performance bottlenecks, or technical debt.
  • Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives), striving for continuous improvement in team velocity, processes, and engineering practices.
