About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our team at Vistry Group PLC. As a key member of our site team, you will work closely with the Site or Project Manager to deliver successful projects safely, on time, and to high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary tasks and ensure that tasks are carried out safely, on time, and to the required standard.
  • Assist the Site Manager in chairing and leading regular Subcontractor Coordination meetings to monitor progress against programme and ensure HSE and quality compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with the company's Business Management System and focus on reducing NHBC RI rates.
  • Take off and requisition materials in sufficient time to ensure availability when required on site, and check delivery for contract compliance.
  • Ensure safe working practices are adopted and followed throughout the project, and regularly review works in progress to ensure compliance with current legislation and safe working procedures.

Requirements

  • Valid First Aid at Work Certificate
  • NVQ Level 3-4 BTEC diploma in Building Construction or similar
  • Valid Scaffold Inspection certificate
  • Qualified to the required CIOB Grade applicable at the time in accordance with group policy
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Asta
  • Experience in a management or supervisory position
  • Knowledge of NHBC Standards and HBF ratings
