About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our team at Vistry Group PLC. As a key member of our site operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise site activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Monitor and control site resources, including materials, labor, and equipment, to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with the site management team to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues, ensuring the safe and controlled operation of the site.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including health and safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Develop and maintain accurate records and reports to track project progress, site activities, and resource utilization.
- Provide guidance and support to site staff to ensure they have the necessary skills, knowledge, and resources to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a site management or supervisory role, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques, including health and safety protocols and quality control procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, clients, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
