Job Title: Hosting Services Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Hosting Services Manager to join our team at Bupa. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing our hosting services, ensuring the smooth operation of our infrastructure, and providing technical support to our users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage vendors and technical specialists to provide proactive and reactive technical support for our information systems infrastructure.
  • Provide 2nd/3rd line support, including 'Fix on Fail', management of change requests, support requests, proactive performance monitoring, and management.
  • Manage platforms for business services and application services.
  • Deliver small-scale development projects according to Bupa's project methodology.
  • Manage service providers and contract resources necessary to provide the platforms and services.

Requirements:

  • Detailed understanding and practical knowledge of platform and service provision.
  • Ability to provide thought leadership on platform and service provision.
  • Proven experience in managing budgets over £1m and financial planning activities.
  • Wide knowledge of the marketplace and its development of platforms and services.
  • Practical involvement in all stages of the delivery lifecycle, from feasibility through to support.
