Position Overview

The Commercial Services Team at Powys County Council is dedicated to delivering expert commercial insights throughout the entire procurement process.

With an impressive annual expenditure exceeding £250 million, it is essential for the Council to optimize value through its procurement strategies. Consequently, the commercial team plays a pivotal role in facilitating the organization’s overarching strategic objectives.

To further enhance our capabilities, we are seeking to recruit two Senior Commercial Specialists to expand our dynamic team.

Role Responsibilities

The two positions will focus on providing specialized commercial knowledge, one concentrating on ICT procurement and the other on the Place category, which encompasses transport, construction, and waste management. However, all team members are expected to demonstrate flexibility and support various commercial initiatives as needed.
