Join Our Team as a Senior Children's Home Support Worker

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Children's Home Support Worker to join our team at Esland Care. As a Senior Children's Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our young people in a therapeutic and person-centred approach.

About the Role

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a minimum of 12 months experience in a children's residential care home. You will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for our young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being. You will also be required to work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement individual care plans that meet the unique needs of each young person.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to our young people in a therapeutic and person-centred approach
  • Develop and implement individual care plans that meet the unique needs of each young person
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure the smooth running of the children's home
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote the well-being and safety of our young people
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

A minimum of 12 months experience in a children's residential care homeA Level 3 (or above) diploma in residential childcare (or at least 50% complete)A full driving licence issued in the UKFull right to work in the UK with no restrictionsIn-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations, and best practiceValues in line with Esland Care's, such as taking a therapeutic, person-centred approach to childcareAged 21 or aboveWhat We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £31,398 to £34,824 per annum, with opportunities to pick up overtime and bank holidays (paid at an enhanced rate). We also offer a range of benefits, including:
