Job Title: Senior Children's Home Support Worker

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Children's Home Support Worker to join our team at Esland. As a Senior Children's Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our young people, helping them to achieve their full potential.

About the Role

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a high level of emotional intelligence, empathy, and understanding. You will work closely with our team to provide a safe and nurturing environment for our young people, supporting them to develop the skills and confidence they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to our young people, including personal care, education, and therapeutic activities
  • Work closely with our team to develop and implement individual care plans that meet the unique needs of each young person
  • Support our young people to develop their skills and confidence, including education, life skills, and emotional intelligence
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote the well-being and safety of our young people
  • Participate in regular training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • A minimum of 12 months' experience in a children's residential care home
  • A Level 3 (or above) diploma in residential childcare (or at least 50% complete)
  • A full driving licence issued in the UK
  • Applicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions
  • In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations, and best practice
  • Values in line with Esland's, including a therapeutic, person-centred approach to childcare
  • Aged 21 or above
