Fox Resourcing & Recruitment Ltd is currently seeking skilled individuals for a reputable company specializing in flexible van-racking solutions tailored for the LCV market. This role focuses on the installation of essential electrical components in commercial vehicles.

Location: Corby

Working Schedule: 4-day work week, 39 hours total

Shifts: Monday to Thursday, 6:30 AM to 4:45 PM

Overtime: Available on Fridays at a rate of 1.3

Job Type: Ongoing work with potential for long-term employment for suitable candidates

Compensation: £12.75 per hour

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assembling and installing electrical components in commercial vehicles, such as those used by BT, SKY, and RAC.
  • Conducting function checks post-installation to ensure compliance with company and ISO quality standards.
  • Completing necessary documentation, including checklists and inspection/test sheets.
  • Adhering to Health and Safety regulations while troubleshooting electrical issues as they arise.
  • Testing new products and processes to evaluate their feasibility.
  • Participating in training programs to enhance skills and adapt to new systems.
  • Recording working hours accurately through the MES system.
  • Performing additional reasonable duties as required by the company.
Qualifications and Skills

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Knowledge of electrical operations within the automotive sector, preferably with NVQ level 3 qualifications in vehicle electrics.
  • Skills in electrical fitting and assembly tasks for commercial vehicles.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities, coupled with a proactive attitude.
  • A willingness to improve processes and methodologies.
  • The capability to read electrical diagrams and apply problem-solving techniques effectively.
  • After training, the ability to perform tasks within standard timeframes.

This position offers a permanent role after a three-month probation period, along with on-site parking and a company pension.
