Job Overview

Fox Resourcing & Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Electrical Vehicle Fitter to join their team in Corby. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for installing electrical components on commercial vehicles, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to company standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and fit electrical components on commercial vehicles, including BT, SKY, and RAC vans.
  • Conduct function checks to ensure compliance with company build quality standards and ISO standards.
  • Complete relevant documentation, including checklists and inspection/test sheets.
  • Ensure all work meets Health and Safety and legislative requirements.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical build issues.
  • Test the feasibility of new products, processes, and procedures.
  • Participate in training and development activities to improve work practices and methods.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of electrical operations and processes within the automotive industry.
  • Ability to read electrical diagrams and apply problem-solving techniques.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to improve processes and procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
