Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Vehicle Fitter to join our team at Fox Resourcing & Recruitment Ltd. As an Electrical Vehicle Fitter, you will be responsible for installing electrical components on commercial vans, ensuring compliance with company build quality standards and ISO standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and fit electrical components on commercial vans, including BT, SKY, and RAC vans.
  • Complete function checks upon installation to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Complete all relevant documentation, including checklists and inspection/test sheets.
  • Ensure all work completed complies with relevant Health and Safety legislation.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical build issues as they arise.
  • Test the feasibility of new products, processes, and procedures.
  • Undergo training to adhere to existing work practices and methods.
Requirements
  • Ideal candidate will have knowledge of electrical operations within the automotive industry, preferably qualified to NVQ level 3.
  • Develop skills to carry out electrical fitting/assembly tasks on commercial vehicles.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a can-do attitude.
  • Ability to read electrical diagrams and experience in problem-solving techniques.
