Salary: Circa £50,000 - £60,000

Hours: Monday to Friday (Onsite)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the comprehensive procurement strategy, focusing on sourcing, cost efficiency, and operational effectiveness.
  • Lead negotiations for procurement agreements.
  • Identify, onboard, and manage suppliers that fulfill quality, sustainability, and compliance standards.
  • Engage regularly with current and prospective suppliers.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure contracts adhere to regulatory standards, corporate policies, and client requirements.
  • Analyze market trends and data.
  • Initiate cost-reduction strategies whenever feasible.
  • Work closely with the broader supply chain team.
  • Recognize and evaluate potential risks within the supply chain.
  • Establish a risk management framework to guarantee continuity of supply.
  • Comply with regulatory, ethical, and environmental standards as well as company and client specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Procurement/Buying/Purchasing within the food sector.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (Ad Hoc).
