Job Summary:

The Care Team Leader will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Care Assistant to take on a leadership role and make a real difference in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to residents, including personal care, medication management, and assistance with daily activities.
  • Lead and manage a team of Care Assistants, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure excellent care standards.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of residents, working closely with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive care environment, promoting resident dignity, respect, and well-being.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery, effective communication, and a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Care Assistant, with a strong understanding of care principles and practices.
  • Hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, with a passion for delivering exceptional care and making a positive impact.
