In this position, you will assist the Head of Pricing for International Casualty and collaborate with underwriters across the UK, Europe, and APAC in various facets of casualty pricing. With International Casualty generating significant written premium globally, you will have numerous opportunities to engage in diverse aspects of this business unit. You will interact with both the Underwriting and Actuarial leadership teams through individual account pricing, quarterly business reviews, and annual strategic planning.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring AXA XL maintains its leadership in technical pricing and portfolio management.
  • Supporting the Head of Pricing, International Casualty in enhancing the pricing perspective of the portfolio's loss ratio.
  • Challenging the Actuarial and Underwriting leadership on Reserving and Capital modeling.
  • Promoting consistency in pricing and portfolio analysis across the International Casualty division.
  • Ensuring the efficiency of pricing processes, adherence to pricing guidelines, and the delivery of essential tasks such as planning and core pricing metrics.
  • Providing training to underwriters on pricing issues and supporting pricing accounts, including portfolio transactions.
  • Crafting narratives around results and metrics to support Finance Business Partners and Reserving.
  • Collecting local underwriting data and addressing analytics needs and challenges.
  • Leveraging AXA XL's capabilities in Risk Consulting, Strategic Analytics, and Enterprise Business Data Solutions.
  • Collaborating with the broader casualty team to complete tasks and assist in the development of junior team members.
