We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our Croydon Supported Living team for Forensic Mental Health. Located near Thornton Heath Railway Station, our service operates in a 27-bed residential property that specializes in forensic mental health, complex needs, and dual diagnosis.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a Recovery Worker for a caseload of Residents and Participants, contributing to the development of support plans, risk assessments, and reviews.
- Provide advice, guidance, information, and life skills training to Residents and Participants.
- Conduct welfare checks to ensure smooth service operation.
- Ensure Residents and Participants understand their rights and responsibilities and have access to the necessary tools and resources for community reintegration, including support with welfare benefit claims and signposting to appropriate services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and agencies.
- Support Residents and Participants with medication management.
- Assist with health and safety and other site-related maintenance and management.
- Perform various administrative duties as required.
