About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Recovery Worker to join our team at Change Grow Live. As a key member of our team, you will work with service users within the prison to initiate recovery from drug and/or alcohol misuse, enabling them to build their own recovery capital.

About You:

  • Experience of working in health and social care
  • Strong understanding of substance misuse issues and Recovery
  • Excellent communication and IT skills
  • Ability to deliver group and training interventions to Service Users
  • Proactive and able to work on own initiative with excellent time management and prioritising skills
  • Good working knowledge of mental health interventions, services, and good practice
  • Supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of information governance processes
  • Sensitivity in working with complex and diverse needs
