Job Title: UK Sales Manager / Director Designate

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our team as a UK Sales Manager / Director Designate. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for generating new and existing business in a front-line sales capacity, while also guiding the strategic direction of the sales function.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and revenue expansion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including Utilities, Engineering, Facilities Management, Contracting, and Industrial customers.
  • Conduct a holistic review of the sales function and identify opportunities for improvement, including hiring, managing, targets, and budgets.
  • Lead and manage a sales team, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their targets and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of sales/business development/key account management success from a manufacturer/importer of electrical/electronic products or components.
  • Strategic leadership skills, with the ability to step up into a directorship position within a short to medium time frame.
  • Experience of building, developing, and managing a sales team, with a proven ability to get the best out of sales professionals.
  • Electrical/electronic qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant sector.
