An exciting opportunity has emerged for a motivated and proactive Band 3 Healthcare Assistant to become part of the Respiratory Department, contributing to various clinical settings.

Our Respiratory team operates in a fast-paced environment, managing both an Acute Assessment Unit and a bustling outpatient chest clinic, providing a wide array of clinics, diagnostic assessments, and therapeutic interventions. We are dedicated to delivering exemplary care to our patients and seek a committed individual to join our friendly and industrious team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist competently during various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, offering support and reassurance to patients.
  • Understand and occasionally engage in the decontamination processes of endoscopic equipment, while being aware of general and specific infection control measures.
  • Participate in the safe moving and handling of patients.
  • Demonstrate proficient IT skills.
  • Maintain cleanliness of clinical areas and equipment in line with Infection Control Policies.
  • Aid in the management of stock levels.
  • Collaborate effectively with the wider multidisciplinary team.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential Criteria
