Position Overview:

An exciting opportunity has emerged for a permanent Trauma Care Coordinator at University Hospital Crosshouse.

Key Responsibilities:

This role is crucial in maintaining high standards of Trauma and Orthopaedic care for our patients in Ayrshire. You will collaborate closely with our Consultant team to coordinate care for patients across NHS Ayrshire and Arran. Your responsibilities will include conducting board rounds within the three Trauma wards – ward 2A, 2B, and 5A – ensuring a truly integrated Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) approach to care delivery.

Additionally, you will participate in the implementation of a tailored Trauma and Orthopaedics education program for our Newly Qualified and Junior staff within the Orthopaedic wards.

Qualifications and Experience:

We are looking for candidates with exceptional communication and organizational skills who can thrive in a high-pressure environment, collaborating effectively with all members of the Multi-Disciplinary Team to ensure a positive and safe patient journey. Ideally, candidates should possess strong IT skills and experience in educational delivery, as well as demonstrated leadership within their department.

Working Hours:

37 hours per week.
