Physiotherapy Rehabilitation Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and patient-centred individual to join our Stroke Specific Early Supported Discharge Team in the East BCUHB area.
Key Responsibilities- Gathering baseline information to assist therapy assessments.
- Carrying out therapeutic interventions following initial assessments carried out by physiotherapists and occupational therapists.
- Progressing transfers and mobility, delivering exercise programmes, and practicing activities of daily living such as washing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Working independently to promote wellbeing, safety, and independence within essential activities of daily living.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. A strong understanding of stroke rehabilitation principles and practices is essential.
