Job Title: Research Economist

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Economist to join our team in London. As a Research Economist, you will be responsible for conducting economic analysis and research to support our clients in the context of antitrust and competition law.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct literature research and data analysis to determine the extent to which economic evidence is consistent with an infringement allegation.
  • Quantify the damage caused by a cartel and advise merging parties through the merger review process.
  • Collaborate with project teams and be responsible for your own pieces of analysis.
  • Interpret the results of your analysis and present your findings to the team and clients.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics or a related field with a Master's or PhD.
  • Exceptional academic records and specialisms in microeconomics, IO, and econometrics.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to think analytically and critically.
  • Fluency in English and strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work effectively individually and in teams.
