Job Opportunity: Experienced Occupational Therapist Wanted for Elderly Rehabilitation Role
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in providing high-quality care to elderly patients in a hospital setting. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans that promote independence and improve the overall well-being of our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and cognitive abilities to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement personalized rehabilitation plans that address patients' specific needs and goals
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and effective communication
- Provide education and training to patients and their families on safe and effective use of adaptive equipment and techniques
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Requirements:
- Current registration with the relevant professional body
- Experience working with elderly patients in a hospital setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and hours
