Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team on a locum contract basis. As a Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide occupational therapy services to children and young people with a range of physical and mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to children and young people with physical and mental health conditions
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify the needs of children and young people
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote independence and participation in daily activities
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care

Requirements:

  • Registered Occupational Therapist with the HCPC
  • Experience working with children and young people with physical and mental health conditions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices
