Key Responsibilities- Service Development: Establish and develop a new, innovative children's residential service that meets the needs of children aged 8-17 with emotional and behavioural challenges.
- Team Management: Manage and foster a cohesive, high-performing staff team that provides exceptional care and support to the children.
- Performance Management: Set and review ambitious targets and objectives for the care team, ensuring that they are met and exceeded.
- Partnership Working: Promote collaborative, partnership-based practices with young people and their families, ensuring that their needs are met and their voices are heard.
- Care and Safety: Ensure the highest standards of care, safety, and well-being for the children in placement, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Competitive Salary: A competitive salary, negotiable up to £50,000 per annum based on experience.
- Performance Bonuses: Performance bonuses for both Good and Outstanding Ofsted ratings.
- KPI-Based Bonuses: Up to £5,000 of KPI-based bonuses.
- Employee Incentives: Employee of the month incentives.
- Work-Life Balance: Birthday off and quarterly bonuses.
- Flexibility: Work from home one day a month.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience in staff supervision and management.
- Relevant Experience: At least 2 years' relevant experience in residential childcare, preferably as a Deputy Manager.
- Qualifications: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) and Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare.
- Driving License: Full clean driving license.
- Skills: Proven ability to provide consistent, nurturing care and support to young people, experience working with children displaying challenging behaviours, and flexibility to cover shifts as needed.
