Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Care Operations Manager to lead our Home Care branch in Huddersfield. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the overall management and delivery of our care services, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch, including staff management, client care planning, and service delivery.
  • Service Development: Promote the service to increase new client referrals and develop strategies to improve service quality and efficiency.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, such as Kirklees Council, to ensure effective partnerships and service delivery.
  • Care Staff Management: Lead on the recruitment, training, and development of care staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure the branch is compliant with relevant regulations, such as the Care Act and CQC's Essential Standards, and maintain accurate records and reports.
Requirements:
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Deputy/Registered Manager within a Home Care setting.
  • Qualifications: A Level 5 NVQ in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Location: Must be a driver and live within 20 miles of the branch.
