Environmental Engineer Job Description

As an Environmental Engineer at Waterman Aspen, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality projects for our clients. Your expertise will be utilized to develop and implement sustainable solutions that minimize environmental impact.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure effective project delivery
  • Lead weekly resourcing and progress meetings to drive project momentum
  • Monitor contract inboxes and maintain scheme delivery trackers
  • Review task briefs and produce fee proposals in line with client requirements
  • Contribute to bid preparation and work-winning functions
  • Input into program development, attend progress meetings, and coordinate site work
  • Manage change processes, raise early warning notifications, and compensation events as needed
  • Monitor progress and deliver reports on time
  • Support clients in managing workload across the team
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in Environmental Science or similar field
  • Experience in project management, preferably in environmental projects within the transport sector
  • Membership of a professional body or relevant qualifications/experience leading to membership
  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary environment interacting with various teams and stakeholders
  • Contract management experience, preferably with CEMAR
  • Ability to manage budgets, resourcing, and plan workload to deliver projects on time and on budget
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using Microsoft packages, including MS Project and Excel
