We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHSFT. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients, working closely with our nursing staff to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to patients, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control policies
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues, promoting a positive and respectful atmosphere
- Participate in handovers and report any concerns or issues to the nursing team
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team, prioritizing patient needs and responding to changing situations
- Basic computer skills and ability to use electronic patient records
