About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHSFT. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients, working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to patients, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety and comfort
  • Contribute to a safe and therapeutic environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team, prioritizing patient needs and safety
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, nights, and weekends
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems
  • Previous experience in healthcare or a related field (desirable)
